On 10 October at 12:00, an informative and educational seminar on Latvia’s pension system will take place at Cēsis Central Library. Remigrants are especially invited to attend in order to gain a clearer understanding of the pension system, savings and insurance opportunities after returning to Latvia, as well as what to consider when planning their financial future.
Representatives of the Latvian Association of Pension System Participants (LPSDA) will explain how Latvia’s pension system works and how the 1st, 2nd and 3rd pension pillars are structured. Participants will learn more about inheriting 2nd pillar pension savings, choosing a pension plan and pension fund manager, lifetime pensions, as well as savings-based life insurance.
After the seminar, participants will have the opportunity to consult with specialists individually, ask questions relevant to their personal situation and discuss their circumstances. The event will conclude with a small networking session, during which participants will have the opportunity to meet one another and learn more about the services and opportunities offered by Cēsis Central Library.
